Darren continues building a fantastic squad

We are delighted to be able to announce that Tyrone Gay has agreed to sign for the coming season.

Manager Darren Kelly is pleased to have been able to secure such an outstanding player who adds physical size and quality to the defence. "Tyrone is an outstanding player. He is dominant in the air, a very good footballer in possession and a leader on the field, especially playing along side the quality players we already have in defensive positions. He also adds a goal scoring threat at set pieces and scored 6 goals last season for Ossett Town. We are delighted he has agreed to join us following two weeks of training and games where he has seen what we are trying to build at the Club and as a physics teacher it didn't take long for him to understand that our formula for success this season added up."

TYRONE GAY (28) - Tyrone is a commanding Centre Half who has played at Brighouse Town, where he won promotion from the NCEL Premier League and Ossett Town. He is a natural leader on and off the field. He scored six times in 37 appearances for Ossett last season and was voted into the EvoStik North Team of the year.
