Hyde United v MK Dons, Commercial Update
With less than two weeks to go until the Tigers take on MK Dons in the First round of the Emirates FA Cup we caught up with Commercial and Marketing Manager, David Broadbent, for an update on the fixture from a commercial perspective.
Speaking about the game David said, “We’ve had a great response to the news that the game is to be shown live on BBC2, based on recent years, the audience projection is somewhere in the region of 1.8 million viewers which is fantastic news for our valued sponsors who will benefit from this exposure. We are having three sides of LED advertising installed for this game, this is using the same system as in the Premier League and European matches.”
“Mitre have been superb and are providing a commemorative kit for the occasion, this has allowed us to put shirt sponsorship packages together on a one off basis and this week we will be announcing a front of shirt sponsorship. Thanks here has to go to Mark Worthington & Hotel Can Mostatxins who has generously given up the front of shirt for this fixture to allow the Club to maximise the revenue potential of the game.
