Hi Adrian Sorry to hear that you are closing the site but as you say without contributions from the club and fans what is the point. However, whenever I have needed to promote the Football/Social Club it was always to you that I turned to and you have never let me down and I have much appreciation for the help and patience you offered me in producing, some years ago, very professional promotional material and graphics for a lottery system. I remember you saying that you had started your own company so I wish you every success and hope you survive this awful recession. Maybe, in the future I may need some graphics etc.  Good  luck.
Kind Regards

Sorry to see that you are stopping doing the website from 30th January 2009.
I would like to thank you for all your superb efforts over the many years that you have done this apparently thankless task.
I do not  know the ins and outs of it, but it is disappointing that you feel that you have been let down by the board. I am sure it has not been deliberate and it may be due to the pressures that they were put under after Mike McDonald withdrew his financial support. After the promises made when  the share capital was restructured  I personally feel that we have been let down by him and I do not think that I am on my own.
Anyway thanks a lot  and no doubt you will be there for the next home game.
Best wishes
Maurice

Unfortunately there will not be a supporters coach to Burscough.

On the subject of coach travel, the position of the Supporters' Club on coach travel is that it doesn't mind subsidising it to the tune of (say) £50.00 per game. However, the heavy losses that have been incurred both this season and in previous seasons on coach travel (notably this season's trip to Harrogate) mean that we have no immediate plans to put coach travel on (an FA Trophy away match apart!!)

Until there are at least twenty five people who are prepared commit to coach travel, the Supporters' Club cannot consider putting coach travel on. At this point in time, I do not believe that these numbers exist.

For the moment, there are a number of fans, myself included, who offer lifts to away games by car.

Regards,
James Brindley

Will there be a coach running to the away game on the 6th December which is away at Burscough?? thanks. Bradley Street
11-11-08 Amazing show from Blyth, Droylsden (Tipton missed a sitter from 5 yards!) and of course Curzon. Celebrations must have been good as both Curzon and Droylsden have lost their matches early this week after the FA Cup success of the weekend.
Also great to get a message from Solihull fans - yes, that is definitely the difference between homely non-league crac and non-existent humour on the Division 2 scene (though Bradford do provide enough comic cuts on the pitch at times!!). Definitely coming to the Hednesford game to mark another Trophy run!! Good luck v Workington Reds on Saturday too....

Just a quick note to send regards to Craig Dootson and Chris Brass,as a Solihull Moors fan we had a bit of very good banter with both as we did last season. It,s what footie at this level is all about.Brassie was one of your best players yesterday and a true gent as is Craig.Regards THE SOLIHULL FANS BEHIND THE GOAL......ANDREW MILES

is there any truth in the rumour that we are having a full time Commercial manager.
If this is the truth, at long last. let's get behind him and put some money in the bank.

14-10-08  Just to remind people that we will be staging an evening with Fred Eyre in the Pete O'Brien Lounge (or social club if enough people want to come) on Monday, November 17. Tickets are £10, see Mike Pav, and we hope to be able to provide potato pie at a nominal cost.

Hopefully, in the not too distant future, it will be possible to publish my history of Hyde FC. It probably won't be possible to get it out in time for Christmas, as I had hoped, but I have my fingers crossed that a decision will be made soon.

If anyone would like to sponsor a page at £20, please see Mike Pav. Thanks to hose who have already done so.

10-10-08 Tiptons outburst at Harrogate about playing with a load of idiots may not be the sole reason for the sale, but presumably like George oghani many moons ago, if the stars dont want to perform then why waste the money?? Good luck to Tolson from valley Parade regulars. Tommobantam

Best bovril in the North awaits!
Good luck in your league until then.

13-09-08  I watched your game this afternoon versus Kings Lynn a very entertaining game, the result not reflecting the game, it sums up the fin line between success & failure. The only negative as a neutral being Hyde's petulance towards a very competent young referee. Best of luck for the rest of the season, the entertaining way you play will hopefully be rewarded.

Regards John Elwin Aylsham Norfolk

12-09-08 Well done Tony and team for ridding Hyde of another heavyweight contract (mobile updates more important than match events?) - Harrogate was the worst body language from a manager I have seen in 30 years of industry!!
Tols will inject some real Bantams style infusion - just get him to update the bosses web page and keep real contact with the fans - if he is struggling (as Steve did) then ask and I will write a monthly update for him!! Tommobantam

01-09-08 Chris Hilton - great, great guy! It is testament to Chris as a teacher and principally as a person that so many pupils and colleagues have expressed such concern and appreciation for him. All at Littlemoss are thinking of the Hilton family and still hold Chris in our hearts; this will never change. Jane Chapman
01-09-08 If you can't make it up to the north-east on Tuesday night then you might be interested to know that a highlights DVD will be made of the match.
Of course, your interest in this will no doubt depend on the result.

DVD's of our first 2 home matches against Solihull & Workington have already been done.
To see an example of what you'd get, please see this eBay link of the Solihull DVD.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=270264758076&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=017

It will be in a full colour cover, and the disc will have the match details printed onto it.
Includes slo-mo replays of goals, good saves, etc.

Once edited to cut out the dross, it will have a menu/chapters page for easy navigation.

It will only cost £3 plus p&p.

Any questions, please contact me via PM or e-mail klatimer10@hotmail.com

29-08-08 Would it be a good idea for Steve Waywell to do a monthly update as part of his responsibility to the Club?
Last update was eons ago and conveys the message not that he is too busy but that he is too far removed from the Club and its fans - maybe he could include a weekly update on how many players are attending training sessions and potential scouting targets etc...

I am a season ticket holder and life supporter and am dismayed to discover that we have Brass and Harrison etc on the team sheets. I fully expected for 2008/9 that we would have taken stock and included YOUNG AND POTENTIAL PLAYERS IN OUR SQUAD WHO WOULD BE GIVEN A CHANCE TO PERFORM.
We obviously intend not?
Why? and can we please have - on the official website - an updated view from Steve Waywell? I have a great respect for him and value his sincere comments.
