HYDE UNITED F.C. ANNOUNCES £400k INVESTMENT
IN EWEN FIELDS STADIUM

Hyde United FC, The Tigers, has today secured £400,000 in funding from Tameside Council. The investment will help fund a programme to transform the ground and its connections with the local community.
A media and community event will be held at 11am on Saturday 9th April 2016 to unveil the club’s plans for the ground as well as its academy and community outreach projects. This event will be attended by the Leaders of the Council and local community.
The project is being led by Councillor Joe Kitchen from Tameside Council and Club Director Pete Ainger from Hyde United F.C.

Hyde United FC was founded in 1885 and currently plays in the Evo-Stick Premier League. The home ground is Ewen Fields, which is also the base for the Hyde Academy which is committed to nurturing local footballing talent.
